PHILADELPHIA − The bye week couldn't have come at a better time for the Eagles .
Some key players, like offensive linemen Cam Jurgens and Landon Dickerson, had a chance to rest their injuries. Others, like edge rushers Nolan Smith and Brandon Graham, could come off injured reserve (Smith) and the exempt list (Graham, after un-retiring) in time to face the Packers.
And, of course, there are the three new players the Eagles traded for leading up to the Nov. 4 NFL trade deadline in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Michael Carter. Buy Philadelphia Eagles tickets
For Alexander, it will be a homecoming after the Packers released him in June. Alexander was the Packers' first-round draft pick in 2018, and was selected to two Pro Bowls during his seven seasons
