A US country music star has shared footage of an ugly incident at a Melbourne McDonald’s, in which a female staffer was allegedly abused and spat at.
Drew Baldridge, who has been touring Australia with Jelly Roll, praised the actions of two men who stepped in and pinned the alleged assailant to the ground.
“Wrong country if you want to abuse women,” one of the men can be heard saying in the footage.
In a video posted to his social media channels on Thursday, captioned “Never abuse women,” Baldridge said it was “so inspiring to watch these dudes stand up for this woman.”

Baldridge said he witnessed the man repeatedly hurl verbal abuse at the staffer.
