Winter makes its debut with biting wind chills over the next two days. Temperatures will recover close to 50 degrees by late week with sun and clouds.

A few flurries and isolated light snow showers are possible through mid-day Tuesday. Areas closer to Lake Erie and the Laurel Highlands will have a chance of accumulating snow.

Hearst Owned Snow showers overnight could produce accumulation north of I-80 and in the Laurel Highlands.

Areas - including the higher terrain of Fayette and Westmoreland counties, along with forest, Mercer, Preston and Tucker counties - go under a Winter Weather Advisory through 1 p.m. Tuesday. Venango County is under a Lake Effect Snow Warning for the same time frame.
