Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday said it busted an interstate and transnational terror module by arresting seven persons, including two doctors and recovering 2,900 kg explosives, arms and ammunition.

In a statement,a police spokesperson said that the module is linked with proscribed terrorist organizations, Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH).

The statement reads that the operation has led to the arrest of key operatives and recovery of a massive cache of arms, ammunition and explosives, during coordinated searches in J&K and other states.
