What is Aadhaar Data Vault?

The Aadhaar Data Vault is a dedicated encrypted storage system for sensitive information such as Aadhaar numbers and eKYC XML files that include demographic details like name, date of birth, address, email ID, and mobile number.

By keeping Aadhaar data in one restricted-access repository, the system prevents duplication across multiple databases and reduces risks of data breaches or identity theft.
