Lorraine Kelly has shared a message of support to Davina McCall , after she credited an ITV Lorraine campaign for reminding her to check for lumps and helping her identify abnormalities, leading to her breast cancer diagnosis.

"We're so so sorry she's had to go through that," began Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show today, before speaking with the founder of her Change+Check campaign .

"It has been caught so early, which is wonderful," she added, lauding the nationwide campaign that has been running for six years, which Lorraine said was one of the things she was most proud of during her time at ITV.

To raise awareness, the campaign has formed a choir, climbed the O2, and Lorraine even participated in a semi-nude photoshoot earlier this year.
