Lubbock Democrat Kyle Rable on Saturday filed to appear on the Democratic ballot for the March 2026 Primary Election for the West Texas-based U.S. House District 19, according to a statement from Rable's campaign.

“It's been too long since West Texans had a reason to care about the primary and elections in general,” Rable said. “That changes now. By officially filing to be on the ballot, we’re giving West Texans a realreason to show up and make their voices heard.”

Rable personally submitted his filing form to the Texas Democratic Party headquarters on Saturday in Austin.

“We don’t need to be ruled by yes-men and the elites in D.C. or Austin,” Rable continued. “It’s time forworking West Texans to stand up and take West Texas back for the people.”
