COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Good Monday morning! The cold air has officially arrived — and believe it or not, this isn’t even the coldest we’ll see from this Arctic front.

Temperatures are starting out in the 30s and low 40s, with wind chills making it feel more like the 20s and 30s. Even with plenty of sunshine today, don’t expect much of a warm-up. Northwest winds will keep things brisk, and afternoon highs will only reach the mid to upper 40s.

Freeze Warnings are in effect across the region tonight as temperatures drop into the 20s, with wind chills likely dipping into the teens.

Tuesday brings a slight rebound, with highs in the 50s, though overnight lows will still hover near freezing.
