Mike Tomlin and Aaron Rodgers looked dejected as they walked off the field side by side after the Pittsburgh Steelers got embarrassed by the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium on Sunday.
Rodgers had a forgettable outing, going 16-of-31 for 161 yards. His only touchdown pass came with 2:57 left in the fourth quarter, with the outcome already settled. He was intercepted twice and sacked three times.
It was his worst game for the Steelers since joining the team in the offseason on a one-year deal worth $13.6 million.
In the postgame conference, Tomlin was asked to assess the 41-year-old Rodgers' performance. The veteran coach stared at the reporter for a few seconds before giving an agitated response .
