WASHINGTON – This could be the week that finally ends the longest-ever government shutdown .
On Sunday, Nov. 9, lawmakers in the U.S. Senate took the first big step toward voting on a bipartisan deal reached between Democrats, Republicans and President Donald Trump 's White House that would fully reopen the government until Jan. 30.
