In a fiery political attack, Congress MP from Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency, Rakibul Hussain, on November 10, said that Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is “not eligible” to hold the position of Chief Minister, accusing him of violating the oath of office.
Speaking at a massive joining ceremony in Dhubri, Hussain said, “Himanta Biswa Sarma is not eligible to be Chief Minister. The oath taken while assuming office is not being followed. No law may act against him now, but soon he will be punished.”
Earlier today, the Congress party witnessed a major boost in Dhubri as over 1,000 people from the BJP, Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), and AIUDF formally joined the party in the presence of top leaders.
