What is the law?

A lot of dog owners will go on a lot of walks this winter. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association , nearly 60 million U.S. households owned at least one dog in 2024. In Michigan, roughly 42% of the state's residents are dog owners, according to the World Population Review .
