LYMAN — A Lyman man who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in August learned his fate on Monday, Nov. 3.
Skyler Gray, 37, who shot 48-year-old Mountain View resident Jeremy Jaques to death on Aug. 31, 2024, will serve 50 to 75 years behind bars for the crime against his one-time friend.
Third District Court Judge James Kaste said he was “reluctantly inclined to agree with the wise counsel” regarding the sentence recommendation in the plea agreed upon between Uinta County Attorney Loretta Howieson Kallas and Gray’s council, Wyoming State Public Defender Brandon Booth.
