A weak wave of moisture pushes through the Inland Northwest today, bringing mainly mountain showers. Rain is possible in the valleys of northeastern Washington, the northern panhandle, and the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene area. Expect these showers from midday through mid-afternoon. Valley conditions will quiet down again tonight while we watch for the occasional rain or snow shower up in the mountains.

After a nice Tuesday, a bigger weather system impacts our area from Wednesday night through Friday. Mountain snow is expected, with the Cascades potentially seeing 3 to 6
