MYSURU, RAICHUR: A woman killed her husband while a man killed his own brother over extramarital relationships in separate incidents.

A woman, identified as Shivamma’s (35), killed her husband Veeranna (41) by hitting him in his private parts as he objected objected to her illicit relationship. The couple had got married 13 years ago and have two sons.

Shivamma had been in touch with one Balaram from H D Kote for the past four years, which led to an extramarital affair. Veeranna had strongly objected to this and even took the matter to the local panchayat.

On Sunday night, Balaram called Shivamma, leading to a quarrel between the couple. Shivamma allegedly hit Veeranna’s vital organs, causing his death. She then tried to make it look like a suicide by hanging him. The police have taken
