A money trail worth ₹50 lakh has reportedly been uncovered in the investigation into the adulterated ghee scandal linked to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). The ghee in question was allegedly supplied for preparing the famed Srivari laddu, which is the devotional sweet distributed daily to lakhs of devotees at the Tirupati temple.

According to sources cited in a report by NDTV, K Chinnappanna, the personal assistant to YSR Congress MP and former TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy, allegedly received the amount in cash through hawala channels. The funds were said to have originated from Premier Agri Foods Pvt Ltd, a company based in Uttar Pradesh.
