Another day, another potential next Celtic manager candidate bites the dust. ‌

According to a report, Celtic have not made an approach for Cardiff boss Brian Barry-Murphy, who over the weekend had been linked with the job. ‌

The hunt for Brendan Rodgers ' permanent successor at Parkhead is entering its third week, with interim manager Martin O'Neill expected to step away from the role before the Hoops return to action against St Mirren in 12 days’ time after the international break. ‌

A whole host of names have been linked with the vacancy, including Wales head coach Craig Bellamy, Ipswich Town's Kieran McKenn a , Columbus Crew boss Wilfried Nancy and Bodo'/Glimt gaffer Kjetil Knutsen.

One man who has also been tipped as a contender is Irishman Barry-Murphy.
