The Phoenix Suns’ newest addition, Jalen Green, is again injured. After returning from an injury, the 23-year-old was set to contribute to the Suns’ core. However, nothing went in his favour as the young guard met another anticipated setback, which could affect the Suns’ game plan ahead.
In a game against the Los Angeles Clippers, Green was seen grabbing his right hamstring in discomfort. The injury occurred in the second quarter when he drove past James Harden, passed to Ryan Dunn, and held his leg in pain. Later, he left the game and went straight to the bench with help.
Green’s injury created a major gap in the Suns’ core as the young guard started to show his on-court flashes. In his debut season with the Suns, he posted significant numbers and led the team to a 115-102 win in a game
