NEW DELHI: The death toll is rising after the explosion near the Red Fort in the national capital. According to information available at 8 p.m., nine people have died in the blast that occurred near the Red Fort Metro Station. Around 25 people were injured, and reports say the condition of six of them is extremely critical. An official confirmation of the death toll is still awaited. The injured have been taken to LNJP Hospital. Delhi Police have confirmed that it was a powerful explosion.
