The Florida Panthers (7-1-1) and Vegas Golden Knights (7-3-4) tussle Monday, with puck drop from T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, set for 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's NHL odds around the Panthers vs. Golden Knights odds and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.
Season series: Panthers lead 1-0
Florida is closing out a 4-game Western swing that has thus far seen the Panthers go 1-2-0. Game 3 of that trip was Saturday when the -247 Panthers went 0-for-5 on the power play and lost to the San Jose Sharks 3-1 (Under 6). The Florida power play is just 1-for-its-last-20.
The Golden Knights' most recent game was also Saturday. The Knights, who lost 3-0 at Florida Oct. 25, were felled by +191 Anaheim in a 4-3 (Over 6.5) tilt at T-Mobile. In a stretch that dates back to the Oct. 25 loss, Vegas is just 2-3-2 over its last 7 games.

Panthers at Golden Knights projected goalies
Sergei Bobrovsky (7-4-0, 2.74 GAA, .887 SV%, 1 SO) vs. Akira Schmid (6-1-1, 2.51 GAA, .901 SV%, 1 SO)
Bobrovsky has gone 2-1-0 with a 3.92 GAA across 3 November starts. He allowed 2 or more goals in each of those outings after recording his 50th career shutout in a 3-0 home win over the Golden Knights Oct. 25.
Schmid has started 2 games this month, going 1-0-1 with a 1.93 GAA. He allowed 4 goals in his most recent start, a 4-3 OT loss to the Anaheim Ducks at T-Mobile Arena Saturday. His previous start was a 1-0 shutout win over the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday, also in Vegas.
Panthers at Golden Knights picks and predictions
Prediction
Panthers 4, Golden Knights 3
Moneyline
The last 5 series meetings have seen Florida go 4-1. The Panthers dominated the Oct. 25 meeting in Sunrise, Fla., outshooting the Knights 26-17.
Vegas is just 1-2-1 over its last 4 games, and all 4 of those games were on home ice.
The Panthers have averaged just 2.60 goals per game (GPG), but that's been on a low shooting percentage likely due for some regression. And overall 5-on-5 analytics would show a better trend line for Florida.
Add in Bobrovsky coming off a solid start and having looked sharp in a 17-save shutout against Vegas a couple weeks back. And Schmid has scuffled at home over his young career. He has registered an .885 SV% in such games.
FLORIDA (+125) is the value side here.
Puck line/Against the spread
No interest; PASS.
Over/Under
The Over has cashed in back-to-back Vegas games and in 3 of Florida's last 4 (3-1).
Both sides have played tough schedules to date and figure to have more to give offensively than what is showing in surface scoring numbers. The Knights' games on 1-day rest have averaged 7.28 goals.
Peg the top lines for both clubs as being sharp of late. And if the Panthers can get the early lead, they'll find themselves up against a strong third-period Vegas group. The Knights have averaged 1.43 GPG in the third (fourth NHL).
The OVER 6 (-105) has a value tag in this one.
