LANDOVER, Md. -- Everything goes through the offensive line for the Detroit Lions.
When they were struggling to crack 20 points over their previous three games, the offensive line was at its worst. Jared Goff got sacked 10 times across those three games, with the Lions quarterback on track to take the most sacks of his 10-year career.
The running game lacked explosion and anything resembling consistency during that three-game stretch, too. It led to third-down struggles and an out-of-synch offense unable to find its rhythm.
