Intimate partner violence
On November 7 at 6:01 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end regarding a domestic dispute. It was reported that a verbal argument escalated, during which a male broke an internet modem and grabbed a female by the arm. As a result, a 35-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with assault. He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in December.
