A woman was stabbed to death at an apartment building in Upper Manhattan early Monday, and police said they are looking for her assailant.
NYPD officials said officers were called to the address on West 129th Street near St. Nicholas Terrace in West Harlem around 4:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found a 47-year-old woman stabbed multiple times throughout her body.
Emergency medical workers took the woman in critical condition to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police did not immediately identify her as they worked to notify her family.
Officials have not made any arrests and said they were investigating the circumstances behind the killing.
