A flock of sheep was attacked by stray dogs at Nelakondapalli town in Khammam district, resulting in the death of 20 sheep. Farmer Mettela Venkanna Yadav said he suffered a loss of Rs.2.5 lakh and sought government assistance.
Khammam: Stray dogs attacked a flock of sheep at Nelakondapalli town in Khammam district late on Sunday night, killing as many as 20 sheep.
The sheep farmer, Mettela Venkanna Yadav, said he suffered a loss of around Rs.2.5 lakh due to the attack. He appealed to the State government for financial assistance and complained that the menace of stray dogs has been increasing in the town. He urged officials to take immediate measures to address the problem.
