Siddipet: Rebarthi village in Maddur mandal plunged into mourning on Monday as news of poet Ande Sri’s death spread. Born as Ande Yellaiah, he was the son of Ande Boddaiah and Yellamma.
Ande Sri, who never attended school, worked as a cattle grazer for a landlord in the village during his childhood. Students of the local government school paid tribute by observing a moment of silence during morning prayers.
