A Scot has been crowned winner of one of the betting industry's most prestigious prizes.
Tracey Mooney of William Hill has been named the 2025 Racing Post/SIS Betting Shop Manager of the Year competition at an awards ceremony in London on Monday.
The 55-year-old manager from Prestwick came out on top against seven others from across Britain and Ireland to claim the prestigious prize.
The eight finalists were each interviewed, along with a key member of their shop team, on Sunday by a panel of judges, who then reached a decision.
The panel included Ibas chief executive Richard Hayler, Levy Board chief executive Alan Delmonte, Nigel Boardman and Helen Scott of SIS, and RMG head of retail Alan Pepperell.
