Rory McIlroy is closing in on a seventh Race to Dubai title - and victory at the DP World Tour Championship would equal his best season in golf.
The 36-year-old heads into this week's season-ending European Tour tournament as the favourite to pick up his seventh Harry Vardon Trophy.
McIlroy currently leads Marco Penge by 767 points in the 2025 Race to Dubai standings.
It is an award he first won in 2012, before again triumphing in 2014 and 2015, and in every year since 2022.
And the Northern Irishman has fond memories of the DP World Tour Championship, with it being an event he has won a joint-record three times - including last year.
