Following the death of 8 people in a blast near the Lal Qila Metro Station in Delhi, a high alert has been issued in several cities of Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot. The police in all cities of the state are on alert, and police security has been increased in crowded areas.

Patrolling is being carried out in various areas. In Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, and Surat, special police teams are monitoring bus stands, railway stations, metro stations, shopping malls, markets, religious places, and other crowded public places 24 hours a day.
