Out of more than 23,000 entries for consideration, four Mississippi musicians have been nominated for 2026 Grammy awards .

The Recording Academy has more than 15,000 voting members, and only the best, brightest performances make the cut. To be part of the 68th annual Grammy Awards, an artist had to release music between Aug. 31, 2024, and Aug. 30, 2025. (The cutoff is why Beyoncé and Taylor Swift aren't nominees this year.)

The 2026 ceremony will take place Feb. 1 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Want to watch? The event will air live on CBS and Paramount+.
