A 17-year-old male suspect has been arrested in the deadly stabbing of a 15-year-old boy on Long Island, authorities announced Monday.

The teenage suspect, who was identified only as a Syosset resident due to his age, was charged as an adult with second-degree murder , Suffolk County police said in an alert. He stands accused of killing Liam Delemo at a house party in West Babylon on Nov. 3.

Delemo and the suspect were two of nearly 100 young people at the party on Carlton Road on the night before Election Day, cops said. A brawl erupted at the gathering around 10:30 p.m., and Delemo was stabbed in the fracas.
