Black Friday is coming up quickly and Amazon has joined the party with official dates. On Nov. 9, the mega-retailer dropped the big news : Amazon's Black Friday sale will begin on Thursday, Nov. 20 and run through Monday, Dec. 1 with plenty of deals on offer throughout.

Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping events of the year. What used to be a single day on the Friday after Thanksgiving has turned into a full-blown event that starts far before the holiday itself. But we're not complaining. Shopping online before Thanksgiving is pretty convenient, and it sure beats standing in line at 3 a.m. armed with a leftover turkey sandwich on Black Friday.
