New Delhi, Nov 10 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi took stock of the situation following a blast near the Red Fort Metro Station and spoke with Home Minister Amit Shah for an update.

The explosion has left more than eight people dead and more than 24 injured. Several vehicles were damaged.

According to government sources, PM Modi was briefed by Shah on the situation, with authorities working to determine the exact cause of the blast. Forensic teams, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), and the National Security Guard (NSG) are on-site, and a high alert has been issued across Delhi.
