WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick police are saying that a DUI suspect collided head-on with a car, fled the scene and then collided head-on with a fire truck responding to the first crash.

Brian Weaver, 46, of Warwick, is charged with DUI, one felony count of duty to stop in an accident resulting in injury and others.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:39 p.m. Sunday when police say Weaver’s Ford F-150 collided head-on with a Toyota RAV4.

Police say that Weaver then fled the 1073 West Shore Road crash that left two occupants of the RAV4 injured.

Responding officers encountered a second crash scene they say also involved Weaver’s truck.
