The second and final phase of Bihar Assembly elections will be held on Tuesday with polling in 122 assembly segments spread in 20 districts across north and southern parts of the state.

This was a region where the opposition Mahagathbandhan had fared better than the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the 2020 assembly polls, winning 66 of the total 122 seats. The NDA won 49 while Asaduddin Owaisi’s All Indian Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) managed to win five seats and the Bahuja Samaj Party got one seat.
