SALEM TWP., Mercer Co., Pa. - Police are asking the public for help in solving an animal cruelty case that happened several weeks ago in Mercer County.
Pennsylvania State Police are hoping someone can identify the man who allegedly threw two dogs out of a vehicle in Salem Township on Oct. 18.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. near 1564 Methodist Road. Authorities say a man driving a tan vehicle, possibly an SUV, stopped along the road, and the two dogs were thrown out of the window. The male then fled the scene, traveling south on Methodist Road.
One of the dogs was described as a mid-size brown and white dog, while the other dog ran away from the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 50 to 60 years old, and bald.
