Dundee United have enquired about a January move for Kazak international Galymzhan Kenzhebek.
The 22-year-old is out of contract with Yelimay at the end of the year.
United’s head of recruitment Ross Goodwin has made contact with the player’s representatives to ask about his availability.
United have not followed things up or made an offer.
The winger has three goals in nine appearances for Kazakhstan.
Kenzhebek is unlikely to be short of options.
He has previously been linked with moves to Celtic and Hearts .
Manager Jim Goodwin has still to finalise any of his transfer plans for January.
He is only looking to make one or two tweaks after totally rebuilding his squad over the summer.
