Delhi blast: Leaders express grief over loss of lives; demand swift investigation

NEW DELHI: Political leaders across parties expressed grief and shock after at least eight people were killed and several others injured in a car explosion near gate number 1 of Red Fort Metro Station on Monday. Urging the government to conduct a thorough and time-bound investigation into the incident. Union home minister Amit Shah reacting to the blast said, the NSG and NIA teams, along with the forensic science laboratory (FSL), have begun a detailed investigation into the incident. “Orders have been given to examine all nearby CCTV cameras. We are exploring all possibilities and will conduct a thorough investigation, taking all possibilities into account. All options will be investigated immediately and we will present the results to the public,” the minister said, adding that he wo
