CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A teenager accused of killing a Fairfax woman in her home has entered a plea of admit to several of the charges, including murder.
The teen pleaded guilty to aggravated murder, burglary and strangulation after he was arrested in connection with the death of 64-year-old Shelia “Denise” Tenpenny, who was his neighbor.
As part of the deal, the teen will be held in the Department of Youth Services until his 21st birthday. While there, he will take a victims awareness class, get his high school diploma and go to cognitive behavioral therapy.
“Six and some years is enough time to create a good or growth record, or not. That’s up to you,” said Hamilton County Court Judge Kari Bloom.
