Staff at a Coventry school are set to walk out amid 'increasing workload' claims. The National Education Union (NEU) has said that its members at Bishop Ullathorne School in Coventry, which part of the Holy Cross Multi Academy Company (MAC), are set to start a series of six day strikes tomorrow (Tuesday, November 11).
The union claims that its members have not taken the decision 'lightly' but claims it follows decisions made by the school and the Holy Cross Catholic Multi Academy. The NEU has claimed that shelved plans to increase the number of lessons for some staff members were reversed with three days-notice before the end of the summer term.
