On Sunday, November 9, 2025, at approximately 1745 hours, New York City Police Department ( NYPD ) police officers responded to a 911 call of a male, shot inside of 2111 Southern Boulevard, within the confines of the 48 th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, a 25-year-old male was discovered unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene.
