Though it is premature to jump to any conclusions, the massive explosion on Monday, around 6.55 pm, that shook the entire area near the Red Fort Metro station gate no. 1 in Chandni Chowk, which claimed at least eight people so far, comes on the same day when Jammu and Kashmir police arrested 7 individuals from Faridabad near the capital.
Notably, authorities confirmed that no crater was found at the blast spot. Additionally, no nails, wires, or shrapnel were recovered from the deceased or injured people. Those affected did not show signs of burn injuries or blackened faces or bodies, typically seen in high-intensity bomb blasts.
