It was the home-like setting that first attracted Hoisington sisters Laura Barnard and Jettie Zoller to Aster Estates, a home-plus residence at 155 NW 10th Avenue, just north of Great Bend.
And now, several months later, while the “homey-atmosphere” is still important, the sisters are also pleased that hospice services are provided to their mother, Teddy Williamson, on a regular basis.
Zoller wanted to share her family’s experience during November, which is National Hospice & Palliative Care Month.
Williamson, 85, a long-time Hoisington resident, has congestive heart failure.
