Outlander returns in season eight trailer from STARZ

Outlander season eight will bring Jamie and Claire Fraser's story to a close with the official start date now confirmed. ‌

Outlander fanatics were first obsessed with Diana Gabaldon 's book series and most recently have taken its prequel Outlander: Blood of My Blood to their hearts but its the original MGM+ drama which has transformed the franchise into a global success. ‌

Subscribers last saw Jamie (played by Sam Heughan ) and Claire Fraser ( Caitriona Balfe ) earlier this year when series seven came to a close, already aware that there would just be one final chapter left to enjoy. ‌
