Haven’t put your snow tires on yet?
Hamilton residents may be regretting that decision after an early dumping of the white stuff over the weekend.
The area was blanketed with between 11 and 16 centimetres of snow on Sunday, according to Environment Canada.
But there is some good news.
While the national weather agency is not ruling out a few flurries early this week, it says a repeat of Sunday does not look likely.
“This was quite a significant amount of snow to fall this early in the month of November,” said Geoff Coulson, meteorologist at Environment Canada.
“On the brighter side there, if this had happened on a work day, the impacts might have been even greater,” he added.
