An early-morning shooting in Marianna on Sunday left one man dead and another wounded in a convenience store parking lot, according to a news release from Arkansas State Police, who are investigating the killing.

After receiving multiple 911 calls about a shooting, officers found two men who had been shot in the parking lot at the intersection of Alabama and Chestnut streets, the release states.

One man, 20-year-old Ethan Martin of Marianna, died on the way to a hospital, the release states. The other, a 27-year-old Marianna man who the release doesn't name, was treated in Memphis for wounds not thought to be life-threatening.

The release doesn't name a suspect in the shooting.
