KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City business owner who took thousands of dollars from customers but never did any work now faces criminal charges.

Joseph E. Brose, 36, of Kansas City, was charged on Thursday, Nov. 6, with 3 counts of deceptive business practices. He allegedly collected deposits from customers, but never completed the work.

Court records show that Brose owned American Window and Door LLC from November 2022 to November 2023. He operated locations in both Kansas City and North Kansas City.
