The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority ( HART ) is offering free rides to veterans Tuesday in recognition of Veterans Day.

The transit agency’s operations will run as usual for the holiday. The free rides apply to all active-duty and retired members of the military, as well as dependents of disabled or retired veterans.

A valid military ID or other proof of prior service is required when boarding any HART bus to receive the free ride.
