LINCOLN, Neb. —

Husker head football coach Matt Rhule said the fans were "spectacular" at the UCLA game at the Rose Bowl Saturday. He said it was "amazing to have that many people" at the game and feel the support of Husker nation.

Rhule spoke about his plans for the Big Red during this week's bye ahead of the game against the Penn State Nittany Lions.

He said he hopes the players take the time to look back at how far they have come this season.

He added he wants to use the week to get the team healthy and prepared for the rest of the season.

Rhule spoke about TJ Lateef's start coming after Dylan Raiola's injury which has him out for the rest of the season. "You know, he did a great job and I think the team really responded to him and had his back," Rhule said.
