Shortly after the New York Giants fell to 2-8 on the season when they suffered a 24-20 loss at the Chicago Bears (6-3) on Sunday afternoon, Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence II insisted that he believed head coach Brian Daboll could help the team turn things around.
Giants co-owner John Mara clearly disagreed with Lawrence's assessment.

ESPN's Adam Schefter (h/t Jordan Raanan) confirmed on Monday afternoon that Daboll is out as the Giants' head coach. Schefter added that offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will be the club's interim head coach for the remainder of the campaign.
