One of the most anticipated music festivals in Calgary is shaking things up for its 10th anniversary, as Country Thunder has announced it will be moving its dates up a little earlier than in previous years.

In a statement on its website, the renowned country music festival said that, in light of the festival’s 10th anniversary in YYC, the event will be moving from August to the end of June.

The festival added that the move will allow concertgoers “ longer days, beautiful weather, and the perfect kickoff to summer,” along with an early chance to see top country acts.
